Umiam Lake - also known as Barapani, is a picturesque reservoir located about 15 kilometers north of Shillong, Meghalaya.
Shillong Peak is the highest point in Shillong, Meghalaya, standing at an elevation of 1,965 meters (6,449 feet) above sea level.
Nohkalikai Falls, located near Cherrapunji in Meghalaya, is India's tallest plunge waterfall, cascading approximately 340 meters (1,115 feet) into a turquoise pool below
Seven Sisters Falls, also known as Nohsngithiang Falls, is a seven-segmented waterfall located near Mawsmai village in Cherrapunji, Meghalaya.
The Umngot River, also known as the Dawki River, is renowned for its crystal-clear waters.
Umananda Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is situated atop Bhasmakala Hill on Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra River, Guwahati, Assam.
•Arrive in Guwahati, the largest city in Assam.
•Visit Kamakhya Temple, a famous Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Kamakhya.
•Explore the Assam State Museum to learn about the region’s history and culture.
•Overnight stay in Guwahati.
•Drive from Guwahati to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, known as the “Scotland of the East”.
•En route, visit Umiam Lake, a scenic reservoir also known as Barapani.
•Explore Shillong Peak for panoramic views of the city.
•Visit Ward’s Lake, a beautiful artificial lake in the heart of Shillong.
•Overnight stay in Shillong.
•Drive from Shillong to Cherrapunji, famous for being one of the wettest places on earth.
•Visit Nohkalikai Falls, one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India.
•Explore Mawsmai Cave, a limestone cave with impressive stalactites and stalagmites.
•Visit Seven Sisters Falls, a magnificent waterfall surrounded by lush greenery.
•Return to Shillong for overnight stay.
•Drive from Shillong to Dawki, a small town known for its crystal-clear Umngot River.
•Enjoy boating on the Umngot River, where you can see the riverbed through the transparent water.
•Visit the living root bridges in Mawlynnong, known as Asia’s cleanest village.
•Explore the serene surroundings and marvel at the unique architecture of the living root bridges.
• Return to Shillong for overnight stay.
Drive back to Guwahati from Shillong.
• Depending on your departure time, you can visit the Umananda Temple on Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra River (if time permits).
• Depart from Guwahati for your onward journey
The itinerary can be altered. Rates are valid for INDIAN NATIONALS only.
Check-in and check-out times at hotels would be as per hotel policies. A valid Photo ID has to be carried. The identification proofs accepted are Driving, License, Voters Card, Passport, and Ration Card. Note-PAN Cards will NOT be accepted as a valid ID card.
No refund of any unutilized services. The company is not responsible for additional price on account of some unforeseen events like accidents, breakdown of the vehicle, riot, delay in train etc
Extra will be charged if government declares any new guideline regarding hotel stay or transportation.
The schedule can be changed on the spot by the manager for convenience.
The company won't be responsible for any unconfirmed train ticket.
Confirmation regarding train tickets needs to be made at least 60 days prior. On trip manager has full right to dismiss any person from trip if he/she is trying to create an unhealthy environment for others.
The company won't be responsible in case of any sightseeing gets cancelled due to natural calamities or man-made incidents.
Travel Ustaad will not be responsible for any false or incorrect information submitted to government authorities for any registration/Covid-19 report/e- pass etc required as per government guidelines for travel.
Any discrepancy in during the tour shall be the sole responsibility of the customer(s).
Customer(s) are to share complete and correct information for travel detail, failing which, any consequence as per law or any extra charges arising thereof will be Bourne by the customer only.
The customer has to submit the photo ID proof all the persons travelling at time of booking.
The customer shall bear all liability if he/she is sent to quarantine during travel.
The train timings can be changed according to the availability. If tickets are to be booked under tatkal quota extra charges are applicable.
All installments should be cleared 7 days prior to the scheduled departure date.
The company won’t be responsible for my baggage loss (Expensive Loss) client should bring them on your own risk.
